Holiday time

Arrived this morning at our congregation's residence at Bordères-Louron, 800m up in the Pyrenees, after a 2 day drive with Bro. Francis, visiting friends of mine on the way. While he's out hiking in the baking heat this afternoon with a few other Brothers, I'll be cycling up to the Col d'Azet at 1,580m, as a prelude to further Tour de France mountain passes in the next few days.

Hey Jim, I've declared I'm doing Alpe D'Huez on my mountain bike next year. Methinks you could better my time by 16 hours!

Hi Roy! Depends what kind of training you're prepared to put in. You'll need to make sure you've got at least semi-slick tyres on the mountain bike and not nobblies. Is it a decent bike? Not too heavy?
